Volta Resources is actively exploring 4,870 square kilometers of highly prospective greenstone belt in 26 properties in both Burkina Faso and Ghana. The properties are generally located on the margins of mature to emerging gold belts, the geological setting for numerous world-class gold mines in the region.
Geologically, the portfolio contains 5 separate mineralization models (see table), most of which have working mines within them - a credit to this gold-rich region of West Africa.
